Visit HK UNESCO Global Geopark - Port Island
Port Island is Hong Kong UNESCO global geopark and has plenty of stunning views.
As the Chinese name Chek Chau imploes, Port Island is unique terrain in Hong Kong with rust-coloured conglomerate and siltstone over entire island.
This extraordinary scene is also known as "Danxia Wonder at Sea"
It is an exclusive, isolated and secluded island that has one of the best sea water in Hong Kong.
Currently, there isn't any public transportation to reach the island. Join us if you are interested to visit Port Island.

Visit one of the most special island in Hong Kong.Easy and beautiful. We will enjoy plenty of stunning view in just 1km hike. Lots of leisure activities you may choose, a hike, exploration, swimming or just picnic and relax. Photographers/photo lovers will have adequate time to capture beautiful views and leisure moments.
We will visit another UNESCO Geopark High Island/ Tap Mun where there are fewer than 3 participants.
Fee: HK$800 per person (includes above transportation)

You can book through the reservation system.
Please note there is a maximum participant of 10 people. Hence, we recommend booking in advance to secure your space.
Cancellation
Please note that this tour will be canceled due to typhoon signal 1 or yellow rain signal is hoisted. Weather cancellation will be announced in the website one hour before the tour start time.
Tour may be canceled when there are less than two participants joining a tour. Tour cancellation in this case will be announced 1 day in advance.

Jowy is definitely a friendly and considerate tour guide who has actually become my friend now. :) I had a great time in Geopark as well as Long Ke, one of the best beaches in HK where you can swim as well as taking good pictures around the sand. It was an easy walk and I enjoyed him talking about the knowledge of the stones and his personal stories. He is a passionate photographer as well where I am sure is a bonus for anyone who wants some good pictures as souvenirs from HK!

My husband and I wanted to go to the Geopark but to a different location than where Joey normally takes his tours so I just reached out to him to ask if it was possible. He said, ‘Yes.’ And that was that. We all made it up as we went along with Joey pointing out our options. It was a rainy day and we were outside on trails so we needed to adjust. Joey was great. We got to see lots of columnar basalt which was our first priority. Then he took us on a trail to a beautiful hidden beach. There he really made a great impression as he helped us pick up plastic trash from this almost pristine setting. His caring for the environment made him a great guy in our books. We three carried our bags of trash back along the trail to the trash cans at the road. Jowy told us interesting stories of his other experiences in this park since he has lived in this area all his life. We had a wonderful day and would gladly do it again.

Jowy provided accurate directions on how to get to the pickup location and arrived on time. He made sure to keep us aware of what and where we were going every step of the trip. The location Jowy chose was isolated island that he was clearly experienced with and was attentive to slower members of our party. This made for an amazing hiking experience. As a bonus there was also time to grab a swim in the water. Overall this was an absolutely excellent experience we could not have completed on our own. 5-stars Jowy and the tour.

Jowy is a great host and this experience is super unique. Would def recommend if u love nature or u just want a weekend getaway from big city life! Even tho I come to Hk very often never had I expected Hk has this kinda view. Would love to do it again next time I’m back
